Outskirts of Salamanca

We passed through some beautiful Spanish countryside and several picturesque towns like this one, called Alba de Torres on our way back up through Spain.

On the way David achieved a major goal of finding some important pieces for the van in Valladolid. Read his blip (BGCoffee) if you like the technical details.

Now we are set up at our next campsite in a Natural Park called “Fuentes Blancas” - located 3 km from the center of Burgos, a World Heritage city. It has good amenities and is lovely and peaceful with trees, fresh air, bird song and not many mosquitoes or flies.

D. cooked a delicious dinner in the van based around Iberian pork cutlets. We bought some traditional Basque cheesecake from the restaurant on site to eat back at the van after dinner. Going to turn in early and watch the final episode of Ted Lasso on D’s laptop.
