Leaving Hoy

Unremitting sun but a chilly southeast wind kept it at 12°C all day.  Across to Hoy for a Kirk Heritage meeting.  En route the Skipper cut the engine so folk could watch a school of Risso’s dolphins quite close, in Hoy Sound.

Before the meeting there was bolt hole grass cutting.  Post meeting too.  A committee member noted in the kitchen a packet of dates had no date on it.  They must be promotional material.

On board the boat I realised I’d watched too many episodes of Captain Pugwash.
