More hot tub

My sister Paula and my mum came over with the cousins and the children played in the hot tub while we sat outside and watched them.  It was hard to hear each other speak at times over the children's laughing and shouting.  My poor neighbours!

Later on I set the girls up with an embroidery hoop each and they have been practicing stitching with my leftover threads from kits I have finished.  They are both rather good at it and Ivy has mastered French knots already. 

John got home from work at about 6:30.  He was hot from a long journey in the car and as a joke he got in the hot tub fully clothed, the girls though that was absolutely hilarious and I took a snap for my blip.

We haven't left the house all day but have had a lovely day.  The sunshine really does make such a difference.
