A schooner

When I woke up this schooner which had anchored here last night, were about to set sail. I checked it on my Ship Finder app. It was a three masted topsail schooner, registered in Kiel, Germany. The ship was named Thor Heyerdahl, after a well known adveturer to us, originally named Tinka, later Marga Henning, Silke and Minnow. It was built at the shipyard Smith & Zoon in Westebroek, Netherlands in 1930. Today the ship is used for sail training for teenagers and young adults. Apart from this we have had guest tonight. I will thus catch up tomorrow.
