Greenfinch

This little bird seemed slightly soporific. It sat on the top of our hedge and just seemed to be basking in the evening sunshine.

I got quite close before he darted away. So I went and took some pictures of the first Peony I have ever had or photographed. (extra)

It's been a warm and sunny day and we did some gardening this morning and walked the dog this afternoon. Hollie had a great time again in the river. 

And finally I heard that a book concerning the history of clocks has been published today. 

It's about time....
