Rain!

Today we planned to go over to Miss K's house in Bicester to see Misses M and A. I loaded the Little Misses in the car and then spent ten minutes hunting in vain for my car key. My idiot husband had taken it to work with him so we were stranded.
It's not the first time Mr K has taken my keys with him to work but it is the first time since I shut the spare key in the car door at Disneyland and bent it completely out of shape so now it's useless!!
So there was a change of plan and Miss K came to us instead.
Obviously the house was a filthy tip and I had hardly anything here to offer them but the kids had a good time playing - mostly dressing up and putting on shows, and digging holes in the greenhouse and planting beans, and Miss K and I had a good time drinking lots of tea, chatting and sorting out our hotel for Windermere in a couple of weeks after a fashion!!!
Now the Little Misses are in bed, we've got spaghetti bolognaise and I'm just about to make Mr K sit through Made in Chelsea.
After that we may get started on episode three of Game of Thrones. Last night I managed to stay awake to the end of episode two. Woohoo!!!
