A fly on the wall

I stood for quite a few minutes watching him rappel down the building from the top, washing everything with his long broom wotsit as he went.
I am such a dufus,  why didn't I pull my phone out before he got near the bottom?
He moved with apparent confidence and energy  in his harness. I only wish I could have stayed to see if he got off at the bottom or if he had to return to the top.

Ah well...
