By the waterfront

We have made it to Newcastle after a steady drive up from Lincoln, a couple of stops on the way up.
A quick stop of at the Angel of the North has to be done good to see it in lovely sunny weather for a change. 
Once settled in at the hotel it was time to hit the bars. We headed down to the river area for food then a walk around then more bars for plenty of drinking. 
This shot was taken on my mobile showing the millennium bridge and the entertainment venue bathed in the evening sunlight.
