Nothing To See Here...

Not much happening today..We had a thunderstorm last night though that added a bit interest to our evening. We have been so accustomed to having them forecast for every evening for the last month, that it was reassuring that the weather forecaster finally got one right! A thunderstorm actually happened...imagine! 

We pretty much took the day off today..stocked up on some groceries - we make a lot of our own meals on our trips as my sister has a serious shellfish allergy and so far we have only found two restaurants here in which she is comfortable eating! A vegan one (yum yum) and then the L'Entrecôte restaurant across the street that has only one menu - green salad, thin slices of beef served in a sauce accompanied by heaps of fries..with constant refills - of fries that is, not the beef! And not a shellfish in sight...So tonight we dined out..the highlight of our day...

In light of there being no photos taken today, my sister generously agreed to help enrich today's boring blip by having her photo taken whilst dining out. (extra) 

PS: we were dismayed that the insignia on our dinner napkin was of a charming cow's adorable face... and after becoming so fond of our neighbourhood cows back in the Aveyron, this took away some of the delight of eating beef!
