Nelson Bay

Our adventure today was to Nelson Bay, north of Newcastle. Wonderful views from the lighthouse and a cheeky parrot eating jam from Wayne's plate. Oakey was naughty,  he ventured onto a lawn that was only for viewing. We had lunch at a barramundi (fish) farm. The fish was fantastically fresh and delicious. We did feel a little guilty eating fish while the koi carp swam by. 
This evening we did a lot more family history chatting and had a small celebration for what would have been dad's 89th birthday.
