Out and about

JJ went off early to pick up older grandson for a session at the golf club and then back here for lunch.  This afternoon he set up a putting course in the back garden to keep him occupied.

Both he and his brother are staying with us tonight (gulp), and it’s the first time we’ve had them both overnight.  It was a rude awakening when I saw Luke’s cancer medication and brought it home that he’s still several months of treatment left.

He arrived with his dad late afternoon after the pair of them had been to the mountain bike track at Chicksands.  Scary stuff.  I ran him a bath and his dad sorted out tying a polythene bag over his line (where his chemo is inserted).

I had a walk this morning but didn’t see much, although this female orange tip butterfly stayed put for a while.
