Common Silverweed

A strange year. The climate is all wrong. Cold and windy and the cultivated flowers in our gardens have reacted by mostly refusing to emerge from their buds. On the other hand we are seeing others which we have not seen before in out five years here. This Common Silverweed is just such a newcomer. Two of them have taken up residence at the garden gate.
