We made it!

Right in time to enjoy the last week or so of freshly picked white asparagus.

We had a smooth trip right up to the landing of our second flight: just as we were about to touch down, the pilot had to pull the plane up abruptly (great big roar and steep ascent) to avoid a small private plane that took off from the same runway out of order.. sure cleared the jetlag’s cobwebs!
