Canary Wharf Again

We are in Wapping for a couple of days to see daughter#1 and her family. It's a while since we have seen the grandsons.

I've done a similar view of Canary Wharf before but I liked the framing of the trees and the railings, and the generally sunny scene. Last time you couldn't see the tops of the buildings because of cloud.

We took the Overground and Underground to meet up with our SIL there for lunch. We just missed a bus which would have been free with our bus passes. More like breakfast actually as we went to The Breakfast Club. We ended up sitting on the stage there as it was the only place we could get a table for 6. It was a bit surreal really (see extra).

Before we left to go to our hotel (well Premier Inn actually) we watched an episode of Is It Cake? with the boys. That was a bit bizarre too. It is one of their favourite TV shows.

Thanks for the comments and hearts for my 5 year blip yesterday. It got me to the dizzy heights of popular page 2!
