Feall Bay, Coll
Our first excursion of the day was to Coll's Saturday market. There we bought birthday presents for Mummy hazelh and Beryl (who is 50 at the end of the month), and a scented beeswax candle for our new guest suite.
Then we walked back to our bed and breakfast and packed our bags for a(nother) very sunny day on the beach - this time Feall Bay (blipped). We had the whole beach to ourselves for most of the time that we were there. As you will see in the second extra, Mr hazelh performed his pool lizard pose for his fans ;-)
This evening we returned to the Coll Hotel for another fabulous dinner.
We were last at Feall Bay on 3rd July last year. This was the day that I blipped an amazing double rainbow over Arinagour harbour. The next morning I shared my photograph with one of the other bed and breakfast guests. He was staying here for the annual Tunnell Trust weekend of classical music.
While we were in the village hall for the market this morning we came across the publicity for this year's Tunnell Trust performances. If you look closely at the top right hand side of the first extra, you'll see that my 2022 photograph of the double rainbow has become 'famous'.
Exercise today: 14 mile bike ride; walking (7125 steps).
