Clarity & crumble

Returning to the Mock Tudor house I have been recording. Today, the base of the wooden pilaster. As the thick layers of paint flake off, the clean lines of the wooden moulding underneath are revealed. Sadly, this also means more rapid weathering, with the rotten wood crumbling at the base on the right-hand side. Notification this week of a planning application to demolish this house. I will continue to record it for as long as it remains.
