Still Autumn

This is the entrance to a farm not too far from here.....an amazing carpet of colours, but shortly after I took this a strong southerly wind blew through so I imagine a lot of these will have moved to goodness only knows were.

The temperatures have definitely plummeted today after weeks of warmish autumn weather, we were meant to have rain but as of 6pm none is evident.  I don't really want rain, as I've a few more days to spend in the garden.  Apparently all the alpine passes have snow and have been closed.

We've just finished a lengthy FaceTime with our Townsville family, Lexi tells me it’s seventeen more sleeps before we arrive.....that sent me into a panic!!  So much to get done.
