For my British Blippers!

I’ve mentioned that I love Thrift stores and Teapots. I pooped into a local thrift store yesterday and spied this beauty. I didn’t have my phone to properly ID it but I knew it was special! I paid her the $3 she asked and brought it home! It’s an Arthur Wood Teapot made in England. I found it online selling for as much as $50! Extra is of the bottom markings. SCORE!
Friday I received a call from a stranger in a neighboring town. He sad a mutual friend told him he should call us. Long story short, his 52 year old daughter and her special needs daughter ( devastating genetic birth defect) had to leave a neighboring state in a hurry to flee an abusive situation. His daughter had to leave behind her homestead, gardens, and her chickens and animals 4 days ago. He was looking for a place where she could reconnect, even briefly with a farm, and specifically chickens. He asked if they could come out Saturday. I ok’d it with Johnny and told him sure. ( You can’t make this stuff up!) They came out and spent the evening. Sweet, precious, Christian people. Like me, she finds solace in her gardens and her animals and had to leave everything behind for the safety of her and her daughter. She will try to re establish in the neighboring county but it will take time. Once again, divine connections. We are so humbled and so amazed. We have new friends.
