Day 14 Gijón to the airport 24 very lumpy miles!

We had a lovely evening mooching around Gijón and a delicious meal in a veggie restaurant. We wandered the streets watching all the hen and stag doos which Gijón is very popular for. All very good humoured.

This morning we got up early for our last cycle ride. A very hilly ride to the airport. We cycled through industrial Gijón then sleepy hamlets. Up and down, then up again. Some very steep climbs - my garmin recorded 20% accent! No idea what one of the descents was I was too scared to take my hands of the brakes or eyes of the road! Of course some trackitymactrackface had to be included. But it was a lovely easy route to the airport. We’ve cycled 617 miles, had a great time, seen lots of lovely Spain and our bikes did us well.
