I always knew my brother was a legend - he reminded me often enough!
But I only found out yesterday that his talent as a player led to an approach from Bath Rugby Club, a much bigger club than Frome even in the 1960s. He chose not to go there as he wanted to develop rugby in Frome. He was very proud of the fact that he scored the full house of a try, a conversion, a penalty and a drop goal all in the same fixture.
