Nauzan Plage

I planned our mini holiday break in France to be at a spot close to Royan where I had been as a kid with my parents and again with a school friend when I was 17. Booked a campsite near Saint-Palais-Sur-Mer and only about 3 hours drive from our stop in Gascogne. Managed to go to the shop across the road to stock up and had an uneventful drive to our destination.

Once we had arrived and set up we walked the 5 minutes down to this beach Nauzan Plage to take a look at our home for the next 3 days. Lovely calm sea on the end of the Gironde estuary - L enjoying the view. Had pizza cooked in the van oven with salad for dinner and made friends with some English people from Leeds who have the same make camper van as us and have now invited us for drinks after dinner. Should be a good place to hang out for the next few days before we travel back to the UK.
