Nature bathing

A slow start to the day, watching some videos with tips on how to use my new camera as I sat in the garden with tea first thing. Once dressed I finished the last couple of hanging baskets and got them hung (despite dropping one and filling the air with curses!). Hung out the washing with T then we went down to P’s and he strimmed the garden which had become completely overgrown again whilst I chatted to P then we did some shredding of papers for him and chatted about tennis.
Afterwards to the pub in Cardington where we were lucky to find two big comfy sofas in just the right mix of sun and shade, and we settled down to long cold drinks, some tasty burgers and a long chat about life. Lovely afternoon in perfect weather.
Home and he fell asleep after his working all night whilst I enjoyed an icecream in the last rays of garden sun, and took some photos of the current and future blooms.
Kt home from her dog scent trailing trials (she’s now a qualified judge) and we watched Sewing Bee and Stanley Tucci then had a G&T and got ready for the last part of Crime.
