Deep, Purple ...
Another day at home, another flower from the garden. I wouldn't have blipped this a couple of years ago, because it would have been hauled out as soon as it raised its head. But now I've seen the light, the word on my lips is 'rewilding'. So the foxgloves are allowed to flourish, and flourish they do!
We've been trying to get everything that was still in pots planted out, now that it's safe to do so in our northern latitude. We could have done it weeks ago, as there has been no frost here, but you never can be sure. Now we have the opposite problem, trying to make sure everything has a decent chance of surviving the drought. We are off in the van for a few days, destination as yet undecided, but it will be over the Queensferry Crossing.
