Getting stuck in

The new pond was laid today, it looks much better than the previous one. 
We did a short walk along the newly opened path. It looks a bit too organised for us and it will be hard for them to soften all the stone which has come from Cornwall so we heard. The birds seem to be enjoying their new home in preference to the river. I spotted this bee getting stuck into this dog rose along the river path which was devoid of people considering it is a Sunday. It’s been a very warm day today. I managed to plant the majority of my cosmos this evening when it was cooler.
