Sun Sets on the Weekend

The long weekend is over. Bah. But ended on a high note with friends Arlene and Caroline visiting to see the place for the first time, meet the pigs, and have some time away from their respective kids to have a few glasses of fizz and generally relax.

Back to work tomorrow wouldn't be so bad, but for having to go into the office (Monday is usually WFH, then the team goes in on a Tuesday), and more than that, just so as a team we can meet one of the head cheeses - that meeting being scheduled for the very end of the day, when I'd usually be heading home (on office days I get in ridiculously early).

I'll look forward to the time on the train reading my book...
