The Rivals

Finally a bright morning, enabling me to walk up to Nefyn Golf Club and get some good shots of the Llyn hills, surprisingly unchanged despite the powerful earthquake that threw me screaming in fear from my bed at 4.15am.

The two hills on the left are known as The Rivals (Yr Eifl) - I'd like to suggest there was some ancient myth about two rival giants being frozen in stone, but alas the name comes from an Anglicisation of Eifl, or "Forks", which I guess is what they look like.
