Blast Off!

I was back work today but only for the morning session which was a nice gentle start to the half term. My year 6 student said he wants to learn to sew so I researched easy sewing projects and chose this rocket as we’re doing a space topic. I found a nice sewing kit with lots of needles and different coloured thread (already threaded) and a bag of coloured felt. Turns out my student actually wanted to learn to knit but he took the change of plan in his stride and we managed to get the pieces cut out ready for sewing.
