Padstow Harbour
Spent a lot of time walking along the cliff path again today, and down on the exposed rocks at low tide. I could have chosen to show you some of my carefully composed shots of the lovely shapes in the rocks, or my shot of the purple thrift which I always associate with the coast at this time of the year.
However, instead I've given you a quick shot taken on the compact (I had been carrying the DSLR around all day and didn't want the weight in the evening) while we were in Padstow, where we went for a meal (not at the pricey Fish Restaurant of Rick Stein, but at an excellent first floor pizza restaurant with a good view over the harbour).
The picture shows the Old Custom House pub on the corner, the Hotel Metropole up on the hill on the left, and the Pescadou (non Rick Stein) fish restaurant just to the right of centre: we have eaten there in the past and it was very good.
