Meet Joe

I have been toying with the idea of getting a small dog for quite a while. Joe, a cairn terrier has been a show dog for two years, but hasn't quite hit the "big-time". His owner is quite a renown breeder of the cairn terrier breed and is a Dog Show Judge. Sadly, because Joe hasn't quite "made-it", his owner was happy to part with Joe providing he went to a "good home" - I'm sure I can give Joe this. I needed to travel a round trip of two hundred miles to get him and this picture is literally with minutes of his arrival to my place. No special posing or brushing, no touching-up "what-you-see-is-what-you-get" with this breed of little terrier. I think that's why I like them, I am very happy with him - I hope he will be happy with me.
