Oh I do like to be beside the seaside
Woke to cloud but after usual monday catch ups I packed up and went to collect K then we drove south.
By the time we going through Hampshire the sun had broken through and when we arrived in Swanage it was glorious and warm. We dropped things in the house (once I’d worked out which one it was and found the key safe!). All seems lovely, so we set off to walk all round the bay along the beach. Beautiful. Close to the town thee was a lot of seaweed but as we went on it disappeared and the sea was clear and sparkling. Lots of beach huts, of all types, and some very typical English groups on the beach and strolling around. Chatted to a cafe owner where we’re planning to go for lunch tomorrow…he was saying how much quieter this week than last when the schools were on holiday. Very pleased we’ve got it on the quiet week!
Home through the town but couldn’t find a supermarket, so in the end picked up some rather nondescript noodles and took them home to eat whilst we watch a rubbish film.
