Trace

I record weather observations and submit them to the Met Office every day. In my rainfall pot this morning is, officially, a ‘trace’ - 0.01mm. There was not enough to make it down the side into the adjacent plastic measuring pot. This is the first rainfall I’ve recorded since May 19th and we didn’t have much then. We had just over an inch of rain in early May so we are in drought conditions at the moment with none forecast in the foreseeable future. Things can change though so here’s hoping.
