Lilacs

A few minutes ago we had a little shower and the sky was cloudy. Now there are huge thunder claps and a big storm brewing. And, before I finished writing this, the downpour began!

There is an expression, the calm before the storm. For me, these favorite lilacs depict calmness and color, the color even more brilliant than when the sun is shining brightly.
