Four legs, one tail; big enough to be safe?

Our tadpoles have been living a sheltered life in large containers, out of the reach of hungry newts in the pond. The taddies are now froglets, and are big enough to be put back into the pond and hopefully survive to adulthood.  (Who knew that tadpoles love to nibble cucumber rather than the fish food it suggests in guide books?)
