Hibiscus

About six months ago my Aunty gave me a small cutting she had taken from her indoor Hibiscus plant. It is still but a little plant, but has now produced its second lovely  flower, in two weeks.

This afternoon I had to make a trip to Romsey (about 12miles from  Winchester). It is  an interesting town, with a famous Abbey, but I wasn't doing  that kind of sight seeing today, Instead, I  was  there to see  an ophthalmologist. Still, I did get a chance to do a bit of  shopping too! 

My family are  excited because my sister and  her husband who live in Australia have just announced they are visiting the UK  in August, staying  for seven weeks.
