Blue Jay at the feeder

Backblipping again!

It was back to the Eye Institute again this morning, for a check on Roger’s eye. Unfortunately, he had another tear - the doctor had warned him yesterday that can sometimes happen, so he had to do a repeat procedure. The instruction today was for him to stay lying on his side, except for 5 minutes each hour, when he could get up to eat, go to the bathroom etc. Then he was to return first thing tomorrow morning, and not eat or drink after midnight in case he had to do surgery!
Temperatures today were summer like - high of about 92F (33C), so I didn’t feel like going for a walk, but I did spend a few minutes late afternoon out on the patio, watching the birds at the feeders, and the Blue Jay came and posed briefly for me.
