In Awe

I was so lucky today to have some time after a work meeting to walk around the city and take some photos. I enjoyed seeing so many people in Central Park and it felt like a mini-vacation. I came upon these girls checking out this horse and took some photos. In this one it looks like the older girl has connected with the horse. She had walked away, but the little one didn't want to leave, so she came back and stood there watching the horse. There is something sad to me about these horses working on the NYC streets, but these kids weren't feeling that and I hope this horse enjoyed their joyful energy.
