A friend & I headed over to Cardrona at midday to meet up with another friend from Lake Hawea. We’re all part of the Girl Fridays group, formed straight after the Feb’11 earthquake in Christchurch - we’ve been friends ever since. 3 of us have shifted south and 6 are still in Christchurch.
Lunch was to be at the Cardrona Hotel but it was closed for maintenance! So we went to the Distillery along the road a little further.
We had a great meal and a great catch-up too.
It was a beautiful day, after a cracking frost.
