Celebration Afternoon Tea

... a bit of a stretch, but I had to help celebrate 8 years of Tiny Tuesday challenges, with thanks to all the hosts over those years.

I needed some basics (bread, milk), so headed to the local supermarket via Hawley Meadow along the River Blackwater.  The river was teeming with banded damsel flies, both male and female ... this is clearly a good year and site for them (extras).

However, the first thing I saw was this little white butterfly flitting over the meadows. It wasn't until I got home that I was able to identify it as a female orange-tip butterfly; I did see a more easily identified male later on my walk, but not a hope of capture!
