San Francisco de Asis
This church is at Rancho de Taos and was built of adobe between 1772 and 1816. It's namesake is St Francis of Assisi. The subject of photographs by Ansel Adams and Paul Strand it's also in four paintings by American artist Georgia O'Keeffe.
The Chamber of Commerce claims that the building is one of the most photographed and painted buildings in the world. I believe them; when we were at the site, it was infested with approximately 25 photographers.
And, the cat's name is "Pebbles."
