Outside has come inside!

Yesterday I reluctantly asked hubby to clear out my beautiful flower arrangement. I said please save the container as it looked nice, but after looking at it, I realised it wasn’t save-able.
But hubby surprised me, he went into the front yard that is full of Roses and cut some and then popped them into the arrangement container. Bless him, he said I could enjoy them more sitting on the little set of drawers by my lounge chair. They are so beautiful, made more so through his thoughtfulness.

I went to the specialist nurses today, for the last 15 staples to be removed, apparently some we’re really embedded, but gratefully I didn’t feel her taking them out, although she struggled. All the nurses have been lovely, but todays nurse explained more, which is good. She said it’s going to take quite a time to heal up, and the hematoma is at the moment a large solid lump of blood, under the skin which will eventually liquify and either erupt dramatically or be re-absorbed or probably a bit of both, it was a warning to not be alarmed, I’m so glad she told us, as we’ve just bought a new mattress for our bed, so I think we will leave it off for a while! Re-dressing on Friday!
