Better than a drone!

I took my glider out today for it’s maiden flight, chosing a large grassy area. I needn’t have bothered as it didn’t go far. Then I demonstarted it to Harry who was sitting outside his flat. Both times it glided round in a circle. Much better because it was sheltered from the breeze. Harry suggested that a drone might be better. I said I’d really like to launch it from my first floor window, but wasn’t sure how the nesting gulls might take it. I have now named it the Assynt Flyer.
    This episode made me feel a bit sad as I must have bought this with my children in mind. They would have liked it. So I mssed their company today.
