Edisford Bridge

A pleasant walk from Whalley, through woods, across fields and then via Edisford Bridge to Clitheroe Castle.  The bridge is made of sandstone. Its precise age is uncertain but there has been a bridge there since at least 1339.  It featured in a painting by J.M.W. Turner.
