Another Plumbing Blip
Last night, as I did a last-minute blip, I had no idea that I would be inclined to do another blip featuring a faucet the very next day.
As I wrote about "a hot shower before bed", I had no idea that a shower wasn't in my near future.
Long story short, the valve that controls the water to the house had taken on more control than I had counted on, and so this morning early (without a shower), I got to play plumber off and on around my other commitments until I achieved success.
I fired the original valve for its unforeseen control issues, and replaced it with one that had a more compliant attitude toward my desires for water. That's the story from the Plumban Resources Department.
All the new parts were made in China, but my American-made wrench (originally included in a Ford Model A tool kit) had no discriminatory inclinations and nicely facilitated a successful international effort toward the stated end of a hot shower for a contraptioneer.
Now, I guess it's up to me to show up for the event!
