Spent the day doing supply in Eastbourne - a ridiculously long way from home but went OK. I covered for the head of Science, who came back a little early (she’d been interviewing technicians) and she must have been impressed because she said they will be looking for a science teacher soon, would I be interested? Yes… if the school was forty-five minutes closer to home!

As soon as I got home, we scooted up to London to see Roger Waters, for about the zillionth time. The staging was amazing and, of course, the music is legendary, but he said the f-word more times than Year 9s. And that’s saying something!
