Diwrnod heulog - efallai rhy heulog
Diwrnod heulog - efallai rhy heulog ~ A sunny day - perhaps too sunny
“Constant kindness can accomplish much. As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes misunderstanding, mistrust, and hostility to evaporate.”
― Albert Schweitzer

Roedd hi'n boeth heddiw - roedd hi'n rhy boeth. Cwrddais i â fy mrawd ar Mowgli's yng nghanol y ddinas i gael pryd o fwyd oherwydd roedd ei ben-blwydd. Cymerais i anrheg a cherdyn amdano fe.. Roedd y bwyty yn brysur - roedd e'n ymddangos fel y ddinas lawn yn brysur. Doedd dim unrhyw le i mewn y bwyty felly roedd rhaid i ni eistedd y tu allan yn yr haul ffyrnig. Yn ffodus roeddwn i'n gwisgo het. Yn anffodus doedd dim het gyda fy mrawd. Roedd e'n trio ffeindio tipyn bach o gysgod o dan ei siaced ond doedd y syniad ddim yn gweithio. Yn ffodus roeddwn i'n gwybod lle fy mod i'n gallu prynu het felly prynais i un amdano fe fel anrheg pen-blwydd ychwanegol, ac yna roedd e'n fwy cyfforddus.
Mwynheuon ni bryd o fwyd da iawn (fel arfer). Cawson ni siarad gyda phobl o Gernyw oedd dod i Gaerdydd i'r cyngerdd Coldplay neithiwr. Roedden nhw’n dweud faint roedden nhw'n hoffi Caerdydd. Roedden nhw wedi ffeindio'r bobol yn gyfeillgar a cymwynasgar. Roedd e'n dda i glywed pethau mor dda am Gaerdydd a'i bobl.
Roedd e’n dda cwrdd â fy mrawd eto. Rydw i'n gobeithio mae'n mwynhau ei anrheg (a'i het newydd hefyd).

It was hot today - it was too hot. I met my brother at Mowgli's in the city centre for a meal because it was his birthday. I took a present and a card for him. The restaurant was busy - it seemed like the whole city was busy. There was no room inside the restaurant so we had to sit outside in the fierce sun. Fortunately I was wearing a hat. Unfortunately there was no hat with my brother. He was trying to find a little bit of shade under his jacket but the idea wasn't working. Fortunately I knew where I could buy a hat so I bought one for him as an extra birthday present, and then he was more comfortable.
We enjoyed a very good meal (as usual). We got to talk to people from Cornwall who came to Cardiff for the Coldplay concert last night. They were saying how much they liked Cardiff. They had found the people friendly and helpful. It was good to hear such good things about Cardiff and its people.
It was good to meet my brother again. I hope he enjoys his present (and his new hat too).
