a day at the Denver Botanic Garden

This was a birthday outing, and God shined His face upon us. We left early to beat the forecasted rain. Traffic was not bad, and the sun shone brightly at our destination. We expected to see some rain drenched peonies, and there were some, but oh so many other plants had bloomed. It was a delightful feast of colorful flowers and wonderful fellowship. Then we went to lunch and had a gastronomical feast! The rain held off until our drive home.
