Marina fire

Our local marina had a boat fire today that spread through part of the covered boat slips. I person suffered non life threatening injuries. Ten boats were lost. One was a treasured old wooden boat. All were treasured by their owners I'm sure. We took our boat out to the marina to get a waterfront seat. The smoke here from Canada was already bad and the marina fire just added to it. Our fire department is volunteer and those brave men and women rush to the rescue night or day ready to serve. Brave heroes they are. The Marine Police, Coast Guard boat 4, boat 2, and boat 7 all responded as well as several fire departments and rescue squads.
