Summer at Rosebank
We visited J's Mum who is being cared for by another member if the family.
We had a lovely family time despite the difficulties of our circumstances these days.
It felt a bit like walking into an interesting family drama with all of our conversations, opinions and observations. Annabel decided we would eat outside so tables and chairs were moved , silver cutlery and good crockery were retrieved from the depths of the sideboard and we cooked busily . A friend of Louis's had brought some freshly caught sea trout , a hollandaise sauce was made miraculously with no whisk, a salad platter was arranged and fresh peas of unknown origin were prepared from the pods by the seated family members.
We had such interesting conversations and although S couldn't participate much she seemed to enjoy the experience of her family around her without the focus being on her care.
It was a very special time and we will all remember it.
