In the garden
This is the view from next to the shed and the summerhouse.
Where those old tree logs are situated, and just in front of the fronds of the pampas grass, is where I’ve put in all those wildflower seeds.
The patch nearest to the old apple tree I’ve put in some more.
When I sorted out last night’s videos from the trail camera earlier, there are signs of Harry the hedgehog, or maybe Harriet, gathering nest building material.
I think it is under the summerhouse as it didn’t take him long to come back for some more.
Freddy the fox was up there around breakfast time!
He looks so thin.
The ground is needing some water, as it is bone dry at the moment.
Our soil drains so easily.
An early blip as we are going to collect Bobbie again this afternoon, and take her out for a coffee and some cake.
Then early this evening we are going to meet up with our “Godson” and his partner, as they will be moving to Wales at some point. He adopted us as his godparents when he decided that as his sister had some, he wanted some too. We received a text one evening asking if we would accept.
It was very touching.
His business is on-line, so he can work anywhere, but this is her first job since graduation almost a year ago, and it is in Wales.
It’s been a struggle to find one.
She is Welsh and has family there.
Time to put out another load of washing before lunch!
I’ll attach the links to the hedgehog and fox from today, should anyone be interested.
