P&O MV Ventura

Large cruise liner in this morning, called Ventura and lots of passengers have disembarked and are currently milling around trying to keep warm!
Today is quite overcast but the sun is peeping through and hopefully it willl get better.
The sad thing about cruise passengers is that their visit is so fleeting...if they arrive on a bad day then their view of Guernsey will be forever tainted...sad!
If you are here for a few days you have a much better chance to get under the top layer and see Island life as it really is, I think a much nicer option!

We are on the verge (minutes!) of setting off with the car to catch the fast ferry to Poole and hence off up the motorway to Bolton for our "Celebration of life" ceremony!
